Reception

__ I would not speak about "Kaos, Parcours des Mondes" in this édito, since I could not return this year there to me, with my large distresses…
__The exposures to topics which were organized by the various galleries present at the time of the event, several published catalogues and if for the majority of them, these catalogues will remain only one to remember (and it is already much!) from one moment, for others, their achievements deserve that one is delayed there a little more.
__It is the case of the catalogue of the exposure (which is prolonged until October 27) organized by Renaud Vanuxem, "Arts Anciens du Mali" in its gallery of the 52 street Mazarine, which is not satisfied to compile a series of photographs (excellent it should be said in passing, H. Dubois is to pass by-there), but which replaces in their contexts the beauty of these Arts.
__I think indeed that it is necessary to make the beautiful share with anthropology, sociology, the ethnology when one wants to speak about Arts, and not simply to stop with some so pretty paraphrases are they to determine of it only one style. Good god! I believed that these quarrels of bell-tower between esthetism and ethnology had become obsolete. By making the synthesis of what with been able to be already write and while bringing a new glance there and so much that is to say not very serious, the result perhaps only successful.

__There are sufficient exposures today which make the dead end on the cultures to present only the artistic forms, stylistics, like if art can-not to be the reflection of the company which generated it. Not to speak about the companies, their cultures, their beliefs, it is to deny the gasoline even their Arts. One does not go without the other, arts and the cultures can-not to be dissociated.
__The history is in constant rewriting, perpetual movement which grows rich unceasingly by the present and adapts it. In that, I join Bertrand Goy when it has taken the defense of Mr. Griaule prone to attacks some not very virulent on behalf of some of his fellow-members for several years. The ethnology is not an exact science, far is necessary some. To go to collect information on the ground is always delicate. How much times I am found to me to obtain several versions on the function of an object within the same ethnos group? How much times I doubted my advisor and my own capacities to conclude certain studies ?
__Stay humble, nobody holds the truth and it is the policies and natural phenomena far more devastating to the history and future of this people that some alterations "Griaulienne".
